Funny story My first Dodge was a 75 1 ton van. It has a 440ci in it and class 4 tow package short version big heavy and pulls anything to anywhere. I had just gotten it painted and put a brand new CHROME 2" ball on the shin eater that stuck out 12" from the back of the bumper(It made it possible to open the doors with the trailer still hooked). I went to pick up my little brother from work and was sitting a traffic light when we hear this honda horn going crazy and some brakes squeal. We were both looking around and saw nothing. The light turned green and we got on to the freeway and drove 4 miles and kept hearing this honda horn but didn't see anything so we finally pulled in to get a soda at the store we got out and this 17 year old girl walks up to me and apoligizes for hitting me and asks if we could help her get her car off the shin eater. She had run into it and we had drug her honda crx right up until we stopped with her honking her horn and riding her brakes the whole way. I never even felt her hit me but it destroyed her crx her block had been punched thru and she had to have her car lifted off of the ball so they could tow it. I went balistic at the fact that she had put a scratch of red paint on to the ball and made such a stink about it that the cop gave me a ten spot and told me to go buy a new one and stop complaining. I also got a ticket for leaving the scene but got out of it when I was able to prove that with in less then a week from the first accident she had crashed two more cars in the same intersection that she hit me. That and the judge went out and saw the suspension on the van and then he believed me about not feeling the hit. So moral of the story If you drive a big ol truck/van and it does get hit at least you will get to drive home when they tow the other guys car away!!
