Based on that table, the ratios between gears are:
1-2: 1.81
2-3: 1.75
3-4: 1.89
4-5: 1.18
This illustrates that the ratio between 4 and 5 is too small, and if 4th gear could be lowered, it would improve both the 3-4 ratio and the 4-5 ratio. Do you have the data for a 3052? I'm pretty sure the ratios are more consistent.
