While I was searching for more info, I read a stat that said 85% of Cummins owners kept their rigs longer than 3 years, I suspect that many keep them longer than 6-8 years, or until the Cummins is broke in and running smooth at about 250,000 miles....= )

PS, it also said that ferd's cost to support the failed power stroke 6.0 has surpassed 50 million dollars in warantee work, IH may not be chosen the next time around as the ferd diesel motor. I would think that IH did NOT pre-test for the 2.5 million miles that Cummins did with this motor....
