Your are basicly right .They were first in the Small personal diesel ,AKA one ton,but the tech came from the one ton and up medium diesel and large diesel.I believe Catterpillar was first when they started using the HEUI fuel system. Pretty much everybody else followed suit shortly after.I just wish Cat would have jumped into the "small" diesels in small one tons. That would have been interesting.
