Hard to get inspired about a bus?

I once looked at a Crown school bus conversion/project/fiasco/abandoned hulk. The tandem drive train and 10-speed Road Ranger *were* way cool, so was the enormous low-tech Cummins diesel plant. The problem is that, in the end, converted buses usually end up to be lousy RVs compared to purpose-built ones. And they end up costing about as much once you finish fooling with them, because modern RV appliances and fittings are not particularly cheap.
