Try blowing into the filler and looking for drips. I find my fat face will nearly seal if I allow Dizzy Gillespie cheeks. Hold pressure til you turn blue, and look for drips while you gasp for air. Or maybe use a CO2 tank from the kegerator, regulated to 2 psi, and a rag to seal the filler.
