Hi Chris, it resembles the old HOT coil problem, unfortunately I am not an expert on TBI or electronic ignition, however I would suggest you take an airconditioning thermometer (available at any parts house) When it gets warm enough to shut down, take the temp of the heatsink on the ignition module housing, if it is over 250 degrees I would say it is overheating if not then it may be a water temp sensor gone bad or simular sensor that would adjust or control ignition. Good luck!! Also you could always try a bag of ice and place it on the heatsink immediately after shut down and see if the truck will re-start within a minute or two..
