Charles over on Gordon's website says it takes 3 tubes per side. He also gave this tip:
Take the plug out of the bottom and install the grease fitting (from the top) in this lower hole. Leave the top hole open.
It makes it easier to fill. When done, replace the fitting and plug to their normal positions.
