Take the coil lead that goess to the dist. cap and hold it 3/16 from a grounding surface. If you get a ble spark while the engine is being cranked over, it's ok. If it's yellow, probably a bad coil. Make sure you have it correctly wired for the grounding of your electrical system. It started and ran - you did good!!
