I grew up in the inner city of Chicago. Chicago is a city made up of many different communities from many different cultures. You go into these nieghborhoods, and you'd always hear the old folk speakin their mother tongue, but, they also spoke English because us youngsters were American and wanted to be American.
We'd always cut jokes about the old DP's (displaced person). I don't care which neighborhood ya went to, it was the same. It's quite okay to be proud of where ya came from. You can at least somewhat type in English, but how many of your "Homeys" that have been here for years, don't have a clue when it comes to the language of the land?
I have gone to other countries. If I didn't speak the native language, I was screwed. I sure as hell didn't expect or demand the benifits of that country. This was and is the way it should be. If ya want to be here, do it the right way. PERIOD!
People in this country that knowingly and willingly employ illegals, be they from Mexico, Jamaica, Canada or in your case Uranus, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
