Factory option, available post war for both passenger cars and trucks. I have 3 of the kits so they are real. They are in both the truck and passenger car parts books. PW had a similar set up, just the plumbing was slighly different because the PW had a maually adjusted heat riser valve. Don't know if the kits were available for the '39-'46 stuff. Just good mopar engineering.
