I always liked the 7.50-17 tires, they are similar to 9.00-16's. If you need some, try south of the border. They were much more commonly used in Mexico and should be easy to get there. D300 truck came with them. By the way, brand new Dodge trucks still come with split rims in Mexico. Must be the shortage of lawyers.
