I sat in a hunting blind in South Texas with two dead wild hogs on the ground in Feb.
4 or 5 young illegal imigrants emerged from the densely thorned brush, and started to ask questions in Spanish that I could not answer.
They all looked at the dead hogs on the ground, then looked back at me. I did not realize at the time, but I think they were asking me for one of the hogs.
So, what is a sport to me, could mean helping a group of me to survive. Next time I will offer. 15 minutes in the S. Tx brush looking for a wounded doe will give someone a different outlook on what they are willing to go thru.
They get here, work like we wished our young teenagers would do. They spend most of their money on expensive long distance calls back to their homeland to speak family. Soemtimes they return and take their hard earned money home, another life or death trip.
My parents have Able, Avel as we call him. He has been with them for 14 years and takes very good care of them.
