...an Uncle of my ex told me about.
Mind you I got no evidence or credible facts to back this, maybe some of you New England folks have heard this one too?

it was about an assembly line, somehwere in the Boston area, or suburbs of Boston, he was from Medford, I want to say it was around there.

The story goes that whatever company this was, had an assembly line, and one day the company just shut its doors.

i want to say it was one of them little companies, like the ones that arent so famous, that you sometimes see models of at old car shows.. Not sure though. but it could have been Ford or Chevy even.

So the assembly line stopped right where it was. this was in the 30's or so he said.

Years later, I want to say in the 80's someone went in to clean up and what was there but a complete assemebly line, the beginning with a few frames and running gear, the end had completed, or almost completed vehicles, and all in between vehicles in varouis stages of building. Along side the assembly line were stacks of tires, engines, and body parts.

Basically, the place was shut down, the workers left and the closed the doors for all those years until this time. it was exactly as the day the line closed.

What a find that must have been, regardless of make!!

anyone else ever hear this story?
