I will be grafting a winch frame extentions cut off from a actual WW2 3/4 ton winch model truck onto my non-winch frame.
Havent seen the cutoff peices yet, but I KNOW they were supposed to be cut off a littel forward of the springs hangers. So ill have plenty to work with.
not sure EXACTLY how long the ended peices will have to be cut too.
the holes on winch and non winch models arent in the same places as far as I have seen so that I can refennce a common hole to start from.
Anyone have a measurment that they can give me from, say, the spring hanger eye on the frame to the end?
this would work.
Also and pictures showing the hole location of the winch mounting rails.
Last one I seen had the rear mount hole just about directly over the frame eye..need one reference hole location to start from, the rest Ill figure out easy enough.
