There are several power wagon axled trucks (that I have seen) with either V8's or cummins that get beat on pretty hard and they are surviving. Even running 44" super Swamper boggers.

There are also many people running Michelins with their split rims.

Some would say, run what you got and see how far you can get before you start breaking things. But if you want to jump the gun, then the world is at your doorstep. Money would be the one thing that will limit your choices. With all the money you could build dana 60's front & rear with air lockers. You could build a set of 2 1/2 ton rockewells, you could get a set of unimog axles.

There is no reason why you couldn't run coils front/rear as well. I'm don't think they would fit the "look" of a power wagon, but anything is possible.
