This is the deal:
I put the 420 behind the 230 in the swivel frame. You need a 420 bellhousing that mates to the 230.
You need the sector for the parking brake from a truck equiped with a NP 420. VPW has them, but be sure you specify 3 times that it's for a NP420 parking brake.
The PTO is close to the brake bracket. Like you might be able to slide a manilla envelop in between, but no more. You could grind a bit off the brackett if you wanted to feel better about it.
The swivel negates all frame flex issues, so I cant say how it will work in your truck, but I cant imagine things move around too much in there with those thin little rubber isolators under the rear motor mounts.
Id just put it in and run it.
