I have an old D200 that I don't fire up very often, and every time I do I have to clean the points. I've also had to do it a few times on the M37 (civilian distributor). I'm beginning to think there's something a little bit wrong with the Mopar distributor design. Maybe it's because the cap doesn't seal very well and moisture gets in while it sits.
