Glen; you might want to get in contact with Dave Brownlow, Cheyenne,WY. Forgot if he did this repair to Gus or Woodrow(his trucks names). He also wrote a 2 or 3 part series about the repair in the PWA.I am guessing a couple of years ago, but someone here will remember. Good luck.
