Art, A flat bed trailer is still a possibility. Locate a construction equipment rental yard at either end of the trip. They will have a dovetail or Landoll type trailer that can accommodate a backhoe or aerial lift. It's a simple transfer from one trailer to another. If all works well you can have your hauler pick up from the equipment yard. Equipment auction yards might be another option. Auction yards might be able to suggest alternate haulers as well. I sympathize with your plight. It took eight months to get the Montauk truck out here. I believe you provided the name of a local tow guy to get it to Hackensack.
