I am wondering what type and weight of gear oil to put in the rearend of my 41 WC. I have a broken pinion tooth, and am going to replace the 3rd member. Many have said that the original 90w non-synthetic should be used because that is what it originally had. I was thinking of using a synthetic, and maybe a heavier weight (75/140) for less friction, and lower heat. I do haul a heavy load once and a while, and drive at freeway speeds. Thanks for any input.
