I work in a shop also. A part you might consider making is an inside door handle shaft. Mine were loose(wore out) and it just annoyed me. I increased the shaft size to .4702 and drilled both sides of the bracket with a 15/32(.4690) drill bit. The drill bit oversizes the hole slightly and fits real well. I spun and ground mine down in a Harig on a surface grinder using a tang. They work really nice and it is a easy repair. I'm tired of making them for my buds! I guess I should take that as a compliment. Originals were mild steel and I kept them that way.With a 2 axis they'd be a snap.Post it and see if others would be interested.Just a thought, Kevin
