Thanks for the information. I actually have an 8 bolt flywheel, it just isn't installed. It is actually attached to the '60 flathead I got after I re-built the '53. I must have made a mistake on the P15 because the date is stamped in both the block and head as 1953. I am pretty sure that it is actually a 218 w/230 crank & rods. It was such a long time ago that I did all of the research on the engine. I only wish I had found the '60 230 before I re-built the '53. The '60 cost 1/3 the amount of the '53 and it matches my truck.
