{{My 1952 Dodge Power Wagon is positive ground --- is it supposed to be?
I thought they changed that in the late 40's.}}

All 1955 and earlier Mopars are Positive ground. Even the very early (pre-Chrysler) Dodge Brothers cars were positive ground. The Early Dodge brothers cars were 12 volt along with some Pre-55 Imperials but even they were postive ground. In 1956 Mopar went 12 volt across the board except for some left over Trucks, and all '56 and later vehicles were negative ground. In '56 you could get trucks either as 6 postive, or 12 negative ground. Supposedly this was for fleets to be able to use up parts stocks but I suspect it was just to use up left over 6 volt parts.
