Something I did.Took tank to a radiator shop and when I got it back I put tank sealer in it.THIS IS A MUST!!!!!(I got stranded because of a plugged fuel filter).Another handy hint.....Did you know that the fuel pickup tube out of the tank just happens to be the same dia.as a.22 cal. cleaning brush!!Soak the tube in WD40 for a while and scrub away.
