Cleaning Fuel Tank?

Hi,

Does anyone have a suggetion on how to clean a fuel tank. Mine has some rust in it and lots of old "varnish"? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

BTW, I got this thing running! Runs smooth! Good oil pressure! Working on transfer case now.
