By '55 all 1/2, 3/4 & 1 ton Dodges had a 230. '57-'60 will give you most hp. Any will work, even M37 & later WWII 3/4 ton W/C's. Get flywheel with it if you can. I most cases you will want to keep the bolt on stuff like pan and manifolds.
