if you can get in good with some service managers at dealerships, ask them how many trucks are comming back for warranty work. Or at least walk through the shops and see what's there. We've had to take a couple powerstrokes in for warranty work and there have usually been 2 to 5 others in with it. Not so in the Dodge shops. It's awfully hard to beat the cummins, for longevity/maintenence/mileage/and even power, pretty simple to turn the pump up and time for higher HP.
