Paul,you should be able to use the original radiator,provided it is in decent shape. The fan size is limited by the location of the water pump and lower hose. A 15"fan is the largest I could run with the stock chev short pump. Using a "water pump riser" will raise the fan up 5", allowing you to run an 18" fan.
