Here is the text of the ad...

This is a 3/4 Ton, 4 wheel drive military vehicle that was primarily used as an ammunition carrier. The cab & chasis was originally used as an ambulance, so the dash plate says it is an M54. The bed has been changed to convert to M37.

The truck is in excellent running condition with the original motor. Everything works and there is no rust. The window glass is missing out of the driver's side door. A key ignition has been installed, as were new, non-original gauges.

There is a new Ramsey electric 1200 lb. winch mounted on the front, which works off an auxiliary battery powered by a solar panel on the cab roof.

Extra parts that go with the truck include a good running engine, extra bud wheels for conversion to a dually, third members, axles, carburetors, distributor, fuel pump, and more.

The truck is currently registered in California.

(end)

The guy says it originally was an ambulance. But the ambulance has a longer wheelbase. So unless the frame has been sectioned and rewelded, there is no way this was an ambulance. And the M54 is the designation for a 5-ton 6x6. Either is is an original M37, or someone has cut it up and rewelded it. If the former, great. If the latter - well, that makes it a nice parts truck to a collector. A personal inspection would be in order.
