Early Dodge Bros. Diesel---Stump the stars

Okay sports
Today I ran across the impossible, an early, unknown-year Dodge
diesel.
Cast into the left side of the block is a "DB" Dodge Bros. logo
meaning this is pre-1929 (or so)
Also cast into the side of the block is
"CHROME-NICKEL"
"MOLYBDENUM"
"ELECTRIC-FURNACE"
"IRON"
It is a normally aspriated 6 cyl. overhead valve engine about
the same size as a slant 6 but quite a bit heavier. Attached to
the side of the bellhousing is a clutch pedal just like that of
an M-37. Can anybody tell me anything about this Iron Beast?
