I looked at the linkage and didn't really see a linkage adjustment. The lever is connected in a pivot manner to the linkage rod which in turn runs back about 1.5 foot and connects to a piece of metal that runs between the two pins which move in and out of the transfer case.
I'll be getting a book with it so I can look more closely at the process.
I'm being told that there is indeed an adjustment for this.
