You should not have to wait much longer. The new Allison Light Commercial Truck transmission will be available in GM products in the next year. I have seen them in 2500 trucks and Suburbans, 3500 trucks, and the larger trucks. I have seen the tranny being tested in the Dodge trucks. Allison has had them at their facility for a few months. They are saying Dodge will be using it soon. I have also seen Fords at the factory, but haven't heard much about them yet. The Allisons are coming, the Allisons are coming....
