It has been my experience that these manifolds were made from some poor kind of shit, and they are Very prone to cracking most any where. Because of their desigh and length they expand and contract an awful lot. I hade one that had a small crack on a customers truck and I took it to a friend of mine that repairs molds for industry. He said " I bet if we x-rayed it it would have several cracks in it" we did and it did. So the moral of this story is, probablt even if you repaired your crack, it wouldn't last forever anyway. all of the manifold has been heated up and cooled down the same amount of times, and this is what wears them out.
