The original motor in a WC 40 would have a serial starting T215xxxxx. Master Parts listing says 275 WC 40 closed cab pickups were made in 1941 with T215 engines, 3 1/4" bore 4 5/8" stroke, 230.2 cu in, 6.7 to 1 compression ratio and 99 HP at 3000 revs. If the existing engine runs well I wouldn't bother changing it, though fitting military carb, etc might make it look better.
