I've always assumed the 251 engine in post-'61 PWs and the Canadian rigs was the longer six cylinder Dodge engine, like the 251 in my '46 1 1/2 ton 2wd farm truck. Then I'm going through old articles and read that the 251 was a bored-out 230. The 230 head in my C4 measures 23" from head bolt to head bolt. The engine in my bigger truck measures 25". So is the 251 in the PWs really the same block as the 230? Thanks!!
