That looks just like the winch I put on my project M37. I bought mine on ebay pretty cheap. It says thats its a 8,000 lb. worm gear winch but I have been unsure of the manufacturer untill now. My dad designed and made the winch mounting bracket and the bumper. The bumper looks heavy in the pictures but I think it only weighs maybe 40 pounds more than the original did. We did not drill any holes or modify the truck in anyway so it could easily be taken back to an original LU4 setup incase I ever find one for the right price. I realize its not a Braden LU4 but for the money I have invested into the winch, steel for the bumper, and paint (less than $300.00 total for everything including the great deal I found on a PTO) it serves me very well. I have been using it lately to pull logs out of my neighbors woods for firewood and it has worked very well for that. I have a new 100' roll of 1/2" cable that I am going to put on the spool soon also. Click on the link below for the pics.
