Hi Howard,
When I did my seat, I took the old one apart and used the pieces for patterns and sewed a new one. I lucked out, one of the guys that works for me used to be a leather crafter and loaned me his industrial sewing machine and gave me a couple of hunks of burgundy leather. I used a roll of 18 gauge car wiring for the center of the piping. I put a piece of 1 1/2 foam rubber over the springs an used cotton batting as needed to puff it out. (got to have something for the mice to nest in) I hadnt thought to get the clips fot the bottom so ended up re-using the old ones and scavenging some from a donor seat. I was very happy with the outcome, it sure beats a pile of grain sacks stuffed into the hole in the seat!
Good luck,
Tim
