If you can't find rivets.
Get grade 8 bolts and measure the shanks diameter.
Get hole reamer the size of shanks diameter, ream hole to fit very tight bolt size.
Use grade 8 bolts, washers and nuts.
If worried about nut loosening up stake the threads with a center punch.
