It's always a good day when spent with friends enjoying your hobby. Mike Morgan and I spent the day getting a 58 315 running so we can put it in his 57 Townwagon. We had power at the coil and the points but it would not fire the plugs which were new. We cleaned up the points with sandpaper, cleaned them off, changed the coil but only after switching out the points and condenser would it fire. The carb still needs a rebuild but we know the engine runs now. We then pulled the engine and tranny as well as all usable parts from the cab, which is shot with rust. Next we have to start lining up the drive line in the TW so it'll move under it's own power. We'd like to get it running and fit for our trailride in May at Windrock OHV in TN. If anyone wants to join us we'll be there May 18-21.
