Since it takes more juice to fire the richer full throttle mixture, bad coils will show up on hills first.

Hmmm, I wonder if fuel starvation was a factor in putting the tank into the cab?

I never met an electric pump that I liked- I've seen more bad aftermarket electric's than bad mechanicals....
