Also, When I had my meyers, you can try this un scientific way. have someone hold the lift switch on while you tap on the motor with a hammer. If there is a bad connection that may make the motor run a little. anyway you will need a motor if it doesnt run with power going directly to the terminal on the motor from the battery.
