Just get a glass cutter at a local hardware store. Hold a straight edge on with spring clamps. Score one side of the glass. Tap on the edge of the cut with the ball end of the cutter. Exert a small amount of downward pressure on the glass when balancing the piece of glass with the cut on the edge of the table. Use rubber gloves or better yet a glass pliers when exerting the pressure. Flip the glass over and repeat the process. Pour a little acetone on the glass along the cut and light with a match. Bend the glass back and forth along the cut as the laminate weakens as it gets hot. Then cut the laminate with a razor blade. You can get all wheat you need at CL Laurence.com I like to use a table with carpeting on it to cushion the glass when doing this work. If you can't use an open flame in your work area a heat gun will work in lieu of the acetone, but not as well. Use safety glasses as well.
