There were different compression ratios for both the 230 and 251 engines. So knowing what they consider "stock" is important.

Additionally, it is important to know if these really were designed to replace a 230 or a 251 head....they would fit 218 and 237 and 265 engines also and the resuling compression ratios would be different than if mounted on a 230 or 251 engine.

I really think they should specify the cylinder head volume so each person could calculate the CR for their engine.

Finally, it seems a bit strange to me to make these without designing them for increased CR....otherwise what is the point...just looks? Aluminum heads can be problematic...doesn't seem worth the trouble if the is no performance gain.
