I have a dodge sprinter with the 5 cyl diesel, it isn't bad, i get 15mpg with a 10,000pound loaded box truck. the problem is servicing. the assyst computer can only be reset by the frieght liner dealer. I haven't found anyone around here (CT) that has the programing and the lap top to work on it yet. even a dodge dealer I take my 04 diesel 2500 to wouldn work on their own sprinter van. I would like to see this 5 cycl in a dakota and see if it is any quicker with less weight.
