a. your truck being a dually(i think you have a dually) should be able to haul a gross weight by itself say 13000# plus your 2 7k axles well thats 27k gross so if you had 33k gross on your truck and trailer combined weight you would still be way over by more than just a few hunderd pounds. try 6k to be exact that is if your pickup can haul 13k gross that's not the tow load that's the weight of your truck plus the weight your little gooseneck puts in the bed.
so being you said you had 33k gross and only over by a few hunderd pounds you must have been towing with a ford f550 single cab 4x2 that has a capicity of 19k plus 2 7k axles.. well heck what do you know that's 33k you wasn't over a few hunderd pounds aferall you was right on.no pun intended you just didn't come out with all the info.
