With its proximity to the cylinders, there is no point in attempting a repair. Even if you were able to repair it through welding or stiching, you are likely to distort the cylinder enough to cause problems down the road.
Unfortunately, there are machine shops out there that will be happy to let you pay them to "repair" the block, but you will never find one that will repair this and stand behind it!
Sorry Jonas, but you are in the market for a new block.
