Hello.
First off thanks to those who had an interest in my trucks and stuff I been posting to sell. The Cummins truck left yesterday, and now more cash is freed up to work on the place, and more bills are paid. You know, I been trying to run with the 'Big Dog's' for years, but now I have come to find that I cant keep up anymore, so now its time for me to set on the porch and watch....
Well anyhow, I'd like to add a PTO winch to my 1990 W-350 pickup. It has the NP435 with Dual PTO outputs on it. I have a PTO here that came off a 1970 1 ton that had the dual PTO outputs on each side. The guy decided to go with the cable operated PTO and this one I have is his old linkage shift one. I am not picky, just want one that works. What I was curious of, is will this older PTO work on my newer trans? Somebody a while back told me that around 1985 the NP435 had a change in the PTO drivegear, and I was sorta concerned this this particular one I have off the 1970 wont work... Is this true or not? I appreciate your help.
