Glad to get your input. Yeah, my first thought was if the low riders do it, I don't want to do it, no matter what "it" is. It sounds like unless I can get some 5.5" 5-lug budd rims cheap, I will just stick with the NDTs on the M37 and leave them aired down and chained up all winter and will put the 7.50-16s on my 1965 D200, which was my original plan.

That truck has bald weather-checked retreads that are peeling apart. It's a beater that I haven't driven for 5 years though and it might be a waste of good tires. 5 years ago the weight of the snow bent the top of the cab inside-out and at that point I pretty much gave up on it. It's too bad because the body was straight until then. I never thought snow could be that heavy. That and I gave the ignition switch to a local locksmith to make a key for it and by the time I got around to checking on it, he'd retired and disappeared along with my switch.
