I used to collect/restore Antique Chris Craft Mahogany Boats. This was common practice in past years. NO such thing as a left over at the end of the year, a wave of the wand and it was the next year. All types of things were done back then. Chris had a raised deck runabout that they used as a prototype for testing. When testing was complete, it was re-skinned and sold as new.
